Certified Change Management Professional

CCMP — lead people through change with proven models and disciplined method

Key facts

About the Certified Change Management Professional certification

The Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) is a professional-level certification that turns organisational change from a source of failure and fatigue into a disciplined, repeatable practice. Roughly two-thirds of change efforts fall short — not because the strategy is wrong, but because the people side is neglected. This certification fixes that. It builds from how individuals actually experience change — the Kubler-Ross change curve and William Bridges' transition model — and then equips you with the field's leading frameworks: Lewin's unfreeze-change-refreeze and force-field analysis, Kotter's eight steps, and the ADKAR model (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement). You learn to map stakeholders on the power/interest grid, assess change impact and organisational readiness, craft a compelling vision and case for change, plan multi-channel communication, and diagnose and defuse resistance using Kotter and Schlesinger's six approaches. You then master implementation — roadmaps, training and enablement, reinforcement and sustaining change to avoid relapse — and the leadership dimension: active and visible sponsorship, agile and iterative change, culture, and measuring adoption with real metrics. Every concept is taught with diagrams, worked plans and mini-cases, and the course closes with a hands-on lab in which you build a complete change-management plan for a realistic scenario.
