Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an account to start?
- Yes — creating an account is free and gives you instant access to the full catalog. You only pay when you enrol in a specific certification.
- How do the exams work?
- Each exam is a randomized multiple-choice (QCM) test. Questions and answer order are drawn fresh for every attempt, so no two sittings are identical. Exams are timed and graded instantly.
- What score do I need to pass?
- Each certification sets its own passing score, shown on the certification page before you start. You see your result and whether you passed immediately after submitting.
- Can I retake an exam if I fail?
- Yes, within the attempt policy for that certification. A short cooldown may apply between attempts, and there is a maximum number of attempts shown on the exam page.
- What are prerequisites?
- Some advanced certifications require you to hold an earlier one first. The certification page shows any prerequisites and whether you have already met them.
- Are the certificates verifiable?
- Every certificate carries a unique credential ID. Anyone can confirm its authenticity on our public verification page — no login required.
- How long is a certification valid?
- Validity is shown on each certification page. Some credentials never expire; others are valid for a set number of months, after which you can recertify.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes. You can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase as long as you have not started the exam. Once the exam has been started or completed, the purchase is no longer refundable.
- What languages is BC Skills available in?
- The platform is multilingual and you can switch languages at any time. Available training and exam languages are listed on each certification.
- Can I download my certificate?
- Yes. Once you pass, you can download a PDF certificate and share your verifiable credential link anywhere.
